The "lawful killing" of Mark Duggan

The concept of a "lawful killing" essentially legtimises the killing of certain persons on an institutional level.

Surely, vulnerable people who die or commit suicide after losing their disability benefits are also "lawfully killed" by the state?

They too are subject to structural abuse and discrimination perpetrated and condoned institutionally, and excused and normalised in the collective psyche by scapegoating, propaganda smears, and stereotype.

The murder of Mark Duggan exemplifies the state-sanctioned injustices of our society and the rotten, hateful core of the ideology and corruption permitting them.
