Welcome to Airstrip One

People have been preemptively arrested as terrorists by the police and imprisoned without trial, for possibly exerting their right to protest. People have been preemptively arrested as terrorists by the police and imprisoned without trial, for possibly exerting their right to protest. Their crime is opposing the ruling class wedding and its cult of personality during the tremendous economic injustice of its government. They have been victims of imprisonment without trial and police brutality for the opinions they are known to hold. They are deemed guilty of thoughtcrime.

And no wonder it took Englishman Thomas Paine to instigate the democratic secular revolution of republicanism in the United States, viewing the fawningly hysterical trend, that is truly reborn Empire Loyalism in America.

"What hope for a country where people will camp out for three days to glimpse the Royal Couple? Where one store clerk refers to another as his ‘colleague’? … God save the Queen and a fascist regime … a flabby, toothless fascism to be sure. Never go too far in any direction is the basic law on which Limey-Land is built. The Queen stabilizes the whole stinking shithouse and keeps a small elite of wealth and privilege on top ….
The English have gone soft in the outhouse. England is like some stricken beast too stupid to know it is dead. Ingloriously foundering in its own waste products, the backlash and bad karma of empre. You see what we owe to Washington and the Valley Forge boys for getting us out from under this den of snobbery and accent, this ladder where everyone stomps discreetly on the hands below them:
“Pardon me, old chap, but you aren’t you getting just a bit ahead of yourself in rather an offensive manner?”
… The English thing worked too well and too long. They’ll never get all that ballast of unearned privilege up into space. Who wants that dumped in his vicinity? They get out of a spaceship and start looking desperately for inferiors."

Stokes Croft and democracy

Democracy is diplomacy on a personal level. Where not respected the natural consequence is violence. I do not condone it in unnecessary or pointless circumstances, but where the self-determination of a people is undermined it is inevitable. A community of Bristol voted overwhelmingly in a local referendum, by 90%, for a Tesco store not to be built on their street of Stokes Croft. The campaign in opposition to the corporation that destroys local businesses and creates more unemployment than it reduces is here. The local council allowed Tesco to build a sixteenth store, discarding the democratic opposition to it. Unsurprisingly, the outrage resulted in a riot from the disregarded residents when a riot squad attempted to evict a squat against it, probably induced by the inflicted brutality expected from forces in a nation that seemingly becomes more of a police state at a terrifying rate.

"Democracy in action, my friend," says a man with a bandaged headwound. I imagine him uttering these words in Arabic while considering the inflamed and shattered surroundings. In country where a government arrogantly destroys the welfare of communities, and opportunities of the underprivileged on behalf of vested interests, with just the same absence of demcoratic mandate, like the storming of Milibank over tuition fees, we have seen nothing yet.

As Dr. King said: "A riot is at the bottom the language of the unheard."

How to make Britain a far greater place.

Generally speaking: Implement taxation in the banking sector, through a Robin Hood tax and war against evasion, and raise tens of billions over the decade. Create social mobility. Assure the right of college and university education for all, defend daycare for all young children and support for their parents, renationalize the railways and buses for at least affordable travel, seek high speed broadband to be available throughout the country, create jobs and loan to small businesses for the economy to grow, including through the manufacture of renewable energy sources. Rather than imitating the corporatism of the United States, we must learn from the social justice of Scandinavia, and the prevailing exporting of Germany. Once the "five economic tests" have been met, we should join the euro. And as has been said, play a commanding and effective role in Europe.
Budget cuts that are actually justified include cutting the Cold War Trident nuclear weapons system, and subsidy to the arms trade that profiteer from the genocide of dictatorship and civil war.

My article for The Lefist. The Mass Media: A Monopoly On The Truth

http://theleftist.co.uk/wp/?p=131

The nature of an authoritarian society, is based upon characteristics that are of mutual necessity to construct and propagate themselves. Indoctrination of conformity and subjugation depends upon a monopoly of truth. Monopoly of Truth is how I define the nature of the mass media and mainstream state institutions myself. As torturing agent O’Brien tells Winston Smith: “I tell you Winston, that reality is not external. Reality exists in the human mind, and nowhere else. Not in the individual mind, which can make mistakes, and in any case soon perishes: only in the mind of the party, which is collective and immortal. Whatever the party holds to be truth, is truth. It is impossible to see reality except by looking through the eyes of the Party.”

The same George Orwell wrote of his alienating  frustration from the propaganda imposed against the revolutionary forces in Spain. Whatever opposed the tyrannical agenda of governments, whether they be Francoist, Nazi or Stalinist, were the “fascist  criminal” enemy, anarchist, communist or Trotskyist. The fundamental principle of the latter forces was in post-ideological opposition to the totalitarianism of the former regimes. We observe a prominent example currently. The Chinese government imprisons Liu Xiaobo and Ai Weiwei for their dissidence. We rightfully condemn this, while western governments justify torturing our Winston Smith in violation of the Geneva Conventions exactly like China, solider Bradley Manning, for revealing evidence of crimes against humanity ordered by American and British army generals in Iraq and Afghanistan. Julian Assange who reveals the war crimes as a journalist through WikiLeaks, is convicted of fabricated and manufactured sex crimes, that the western media represent as fact. What dichotomy.  The pervasive nature of the Monopoly of Truth is the foundation of lack of freedom in every society. The West is Oceania, and Stalinist governments of the East, Eurasia.
The hierarchy of the mass media is fascist by definition. As Mussolini defined it, “Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power.” On behalf of vested elite interests, the media decide elections through smear campaigns against the opponents of corporate interests, whenever they do not censor or conceitedly ignore them. A passive  and unrelated sentence at the end of a fearmongering article, the randomly chosen story of desperate suffering and victimhood, the pseudoscientific scares,  the celebrity cult of personality. The rhetoric doesn’t consider how to deal effective and empathetically with the failures and  tribulations of society. It merely dehumanizes, scapegoats, hysterically induces the collective unworthiness and hatred of the primitive mind that could hang its monsters and homogeneously march upon the streets.
In the advent of our freethinking and revolutionary movements, a founding principle is an often used but relevant phrase I am fond of: “Be the media.” We are the true media, as the challengers and educators of opposition against evident injustice. What this foundation of democracy defeats is intimidated by it, and will oppress it as far as it can, where it can. It will at least stereotype and attempt to discredit it, and at worse commit atrocity against those engaging in it. It will find its own self-serving excuses through the Monopoly of Truth. Once viewed objectively, its excuses are non-existent in credibility and its agenda will accordingly be disposed by a free society.

Atrocity against the most vulnerable

"We stand against the inhumanity and injustice of this government's agenda, that vitimizes and undermines
the welfare and quality of life, of the elderly, vulnerable and disabled.

We will defeat and oppose it through any means necessary.

On behalf of the Armchair Army,

Jacob Richardson."

My article for The Lefist: Jesus Was A Revolutionary Until The Church Corrupted His Meaning.

http://theleftist.co.uk/wp/?p=90

Like Richard Dawkins, I am an atheist for Jesus. A philosopher, who through his own Jewish-based morality taught the injustice of contained wealth in a society,  by the ruling class whose decisions are made in the vested interests of their own tyranny. This transcendent understanding of freedom, that stands against the mutual injustice of financial oligarchy and authoritarian power.
But from then on in the course of human history, the religious institutions of the world, and their destructive indoctrination of the human condition have always been instrumental in the hierarchy of control. God, the unquestionable absolute power, suspended the reason of those with faith to believe and conform to whatever the churches deemed to be his word, according to the agenda of whatever authority these sovereigns are a part of. They are incomparably described by Thomas Paine as “no other than human inventions set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit.”

With an intended lord who in human form denied all wealthy individuals entry into his celestial  kingdom,  why does the Catholic Church particularly retain hundreds of billions in its accounts, while exhibiting its wealth during delusional processions, of golden ornaments encrusted with jewelry? Even if the church insists on caused genocide by proxy in the third world through its teachings against contraception, it could surely consider instead selling these anti-Christian riches, and building tens of thousands of hospitals and schools, stocked with medicines, resources and food for such people throughout the world, rather than primarily paying for missionaries to embark on crusades of destructive dogmatizing to the starving and illiterate?
Why does the national Church of England subsist upon public taxation  because of the country’s overwhelmingly prevalent humanism? Why are American evangelicals given government subsidiary to build extravagant megachurches to preach fundamentalism, and schools to teach pseudoscience and grant “diplomas” of no academic legitimacy?
We then observe the Middle east, with regimes such as Saudi Arabia and ruled by totalitarian dynasties who live in luxury, trading with western oil companies and arms manufacturers, while the oppressed populace live in poverty and destitution. Many of the fundamental causes of its revolutions are instigated by these conditions. We can further stand in solidarity, as throughout our history as serfs and subjects the only difference of our regimes has been a different form of Abrahamic theology.
Though as understood from Leo Tolstoy, we can comprehend Christ’s Kingdom as a universal concept. Where collective equality of individuals in ownership of their freethinking and elevated minds, perhaps “souls”, are not bound by the confines of such inhumanity. We can understand God as an all embodying belief in human good,  respect of our habitat, and admiration of our universe. Not as the excuse of exorbitant wealth and fanatical absolutism. They will never make it through the eye of a needle. Any non-religious existence of such greed in society by banks and ruling corporations, is completely condemned as such evil sin.

Defending the NHS

The National Health Service was founded by the experience of those who understood the magnitude of human suffering and the fragility of freedom. Even in the severe debt to the nation's economy after the war effort that defeated fascism, the NHS was established in the minds that witnessed the misery in the lives of their follow human beings,  that realized the inalienable and universal right to healthcare, medicine as a commodity being incompatible with the morality of civilized society.

Universal values are built upon progress, but the resistance and struggle of World War II comprehended the values that confirmed the NHS with immediacy. As a government attempts to systematically destroy the NHS through privatization, and hand its power to corporations prioritizing their dehumanized vested interests of profit motive over patient care, we must heed the words of Nye Bevan:

“The NHS will last as long as there are folks left with the faith to fight for it."

Let us fight, with faith and by any means necessary.

Inclinations

I stand outside and walk in my garden. I look at the trees and stride in the direction of my aspirations, for as far as possible. If my ideal  direction is south I seem to be appealed towards it. When not moving, we should always be preparing and considering as we wait. The fundamental positive action in life abides to the yearning of free will.

The United Kingdom welcomes martial law

As part of the UK government's systematic privatization of the nation's public sector, prisons throughout the country are to be taken over by the corporate public services provider Serco. The dehumanizing and crime manufacturing nature of the western world's penal systems are already severe enough, but when corporations take over prisons to profiteer from the labor of prisoners, this descends into virtual slavery.

"Justice" Secretary Kenneth Clarke has reserved around two thousand reserve troops from the armed forces to act as guards, if prison officers decide to implement a strike over the action.

"We have contingency plans and the military are indeed involved. But I should make it clear that no one is talking about a military takeover of our prisons. The prison governors will still be in charge and so will the Prison Service but it is only prudent to make sure that we do have the military prepared should it be required."

From introducing law that will prohibit the right of peaceful protest through authoritarian "anti-terrorism" subversion of civil liberties, for the UK Uncut political prisoners acting against the government's agenda through civil disobedience, it will now willingly undertake martial law in the reestablished panoptic prison slave trade against the reputable prison wardens enraged by the disgraceful and anti-humanitarian policy.
